Swiss architectural studio Mauro Turin Architectes developed a project of a landmark wine museum, located in the mountains of the Lavaux wine region (Switzerland). The museum, which “offers a walk in the air, allowing a unique experience of Lavaux, Lake Geneva and the Alps”, is intended to be an exciting part of the tourist route.
Original author of the project – architect Mauro Turin – invented supporting structure as an imaginary project for Swiss magazine about design Hochparterre.
Architect decided to create a wine museum dedicated to historic place with grape terraces of the eleventh century, which have become an integral part of the landscape of Lake Geneva, on the western border of the country.
According to the author of the project, he wanted to create something that will not only tell about history of world heritage, and identify a new iconic landmark that will attract visitors from all over the world.
To date, a project, deserving the high estimation of the local press, politicians and architects, is on the stage of discussion. Creativity of authors of this project can be found on the official website of architectural studio: http://www.mauroturin.ch/
