0The newest technologies reign everywhere, – even city urns have reached. In due time we wrote about urn-lantern City Context which both cleanliness supports, and streets shines. And more recently it became known that the London streets soon equip with much more “advanced” innovative urns Renew Bin which cost will exceed 45 thousand dollars.
These urns, which release it is dated for the beginning of the Olympic games 2012, – a handwork of designers and developers of company Renew. Why release, instead of creation? The matter is that the project has been written and made for a long time already, here only there was no case to present it to public. But at last the hour of triumph of this project has come, and by the summer the party of urns will take the place in streets of the British capital.
Equipped with the big liquid crystal displays, urns will carry out a role of city informers. And at any moment it will be possible to learn a weather forecast or exchange rate, exchange reports and the schedule of planes, and also news of culture, a policy and, certainly, sports. Besides it, urns should equip with access points to wi-fi that will help inhabitants and city visitors to appear online at any moment.
It is expected that 75 innovative urns Renew Bin will appear in a city in the summer, to the beginning of the Olympic games which will be 30 under the account – anniversary.
