This romantic and creative loft is located in the attic of a house in Stockholm (Sweden). Huge skylights fill the room with light, and the dominant white visually enlarges the space. A thin light furniture, candles and non-trivial elements give the interior decor and unique creativity, the elusive charm of light pre-dawn mist.
Some of the furniture and decor, decorating the apartment, were purchased at a flea market in Brooklyn or in Ikea, others – from well-known brands and manufacturers. And the first and second virtuoso interact with each other and, most importantly, with its context – an apartment in the heart of old European city with a high level of internal culture.
Such deliberate and delicate eclecticism gives the interior a unique, casual and subtle charm. There is no hint of deliberateness and pathos, there is also flirting with various styling.
Rough wooden floors, time aged benches, a table with legs folded in a pile of books – everything here breathes harmony and their own history, which is formed from a variety of fragments of someone’s dreams and memories.
The decor is designed to lull recreation of its inhabitants, forcing soft and precise all anxious and obsessive thoughts, from which usually is so difficult to get rid immediately, as only you put head on the pillow. Sleep, sleep, and only sleep – tell their peremptory overlooking rows of bags hanging from the sloping roof. A white “borderline” by outlining the perimeter of the bed represents the area of relaxation and inner peace.
The same line, imitating the mat, and outlines the location of the glass coffee table. Zoning in this space is not obvious, not obvious – completely transparent allusions, associations, and incomplete images, allowing the stories continue, and the inhabitants of the apartment not attaching to anything. This urban loft elf – the perfect place for a romantic and creative nature. It is obvious that this is where you can stop a moment to enjoy the solitude and dreams.
