The modern organization of urban traffic are no longer satisfied with either motorists or pedestrians. That’s because the company Audi and BIG jointly developed surprisingly complex system of organization of the future of urban life – Urban Future. They presented it recently at an exhibition at Art Basel Miami.

Audi and BIG is well known companies for regular readers of CuteDecision.com. First – as one of the world’s largest automakers, the second – as an architectural studio that develops very unusual projects, such as Memorial freedom and unity of Germany in Berlin. So they decided to join forces to create the concept of the future of urban life.

The system, called by creators “Urban Future”, implies new principles of city traffic. For example, it cancels the division of streets in the pedestrian zone and the roadway. And cars, and pedestrians will move to a single zone for them. Here are just a street space is nestled huge grid tech with LED backlight. It will point cars where to go, and people where to go, not to get run over.
