Japanese designer Oki Sato from the studio Nendo developed a conceptual black and white interior exhibition space for Nendo Solo show, held in Taiwan. Authors’ objective was to create an environment in which visitors can feel like the characters in black and white illustrations.
Transparent interior winding space volume is designed to envelop visitors installing light “touches” black and white graphics. Mysterious objects that are out there, there is growing out of the painted ground, reminiscent of poles along the road.
Exhibition space is divided into two zones, one of which is half dark, and another is light. The scenery, painted on the white walls of the streamlined, follow their twists and transparent elements of the situation, made their glass and painted black metal, designed to set to a flat “Illustrations” 3D-volume.
