Three concepts of Daihatsu: big, small, sports

Daihatsu Company is the oldest of the existing automakers in Japan. However, the realization of this fact doesn’t make a firm hold on its past, ignoring the present, but rather inspires new research, new developments. Three of them are Daihatsu plans to unveil at the Tokyo Motor Show of 2011, which will take place in the first half of December.

Daihatsu FC ShoCase – big

Daihatsu FC ShoCase – a concept minivan of the future. During the ride it provides seating for four people (driver and three passengers). But during a stop they can be easily dismantled, put in a horizontal state, creating a single horizontal space for life (you can install a folding furniture here or there and then go to bed). ShoCase Daihatsu FC – it’s electric. Moreover, its batteries are made ??using a new generation of liquid fuel cells, the creation of which didn’t use rare earth elements and precious metals.

 

Daihatsu PICO – a small

Daihatsu PICO – this is a conceptual “brother” of Volkswagen Nils. According to the idea of marketing of company Daihatsu, this electric car designed for older people, for local travel and business services. It has only two seats for passengers (one in the front row, another – in the rear, the latter can be folded and formed to use the space for luggage). A battery capacity Daihatsu PICO will pass on a single charge of 50-60 kilometers.

Daihatsu DX – sports

Sports car called the Daihatsu DX only for appearance, whose design is similar to the design of beach buggies. Of course, Daihatsu DX doesn’t accelerate from a standstill to a speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 5 seconds, it doesn’t have a top speed of 300 km/h. But it has an innovative system of direct fuel injection that allows it to be very economical. And, combined with the remarkable appearance, it gives Daihatsu DX bright prospects to become a popular model of car.
