Architectural studio Supermachine Studio has implemented creative design of the office Saatchi & Saatchi, located in Bangkok (Thailand). To create a new office, the head of the company-customer looking for the unexpected and playful designs that are able to inspire employees, letting them know that sometimes it is not necessary to take yourself too seriously.
Creating a new office was motivated by the desire to collect management under one roof all the child branches of a large company, to maximize the association and interaction of resources.
Fairly narrow, disproportionate space and a tight budget have created some problems for the authors of interiors. As a result of this work have been found bold decisions, which leave most of the space open, but contain strong visual accents.
Such openness was also part of the plan manager of the company, explain the architects that the staff of a new creative space to learn to work together to become a single “family”.
Management of the company welcome any creative solutions – from resembling a large white bus waiting on the wheels, to employment of staff assigned to the bicycle frame.
Almost all the functional components of the situation are mobile in the literal and figurative senses of this characteristic. Bright colors and unusual design for a dynamic spatial dynamics.
Some fragments of the interior have been created using elements of the old office environment. This decision has reduced the cost of purchasing new materials and created a visual link with the company’s past.
Tribute to the past, but much more distant, has a huge 20-meter black lizard with an interactive “body” stand-and-jaws shelf for books. Monster has become the new mascot of the company and very soon it will display the image on the shirts of employees.
