British architectural studio Weston Williamson Architects presented the concept and master plan for large-scale project futuristic railway station Beijing Railway Station South, designed for Beijing (China).
Beijing South Railway Station will become the largest and most unusual railway station in China. The future of the building is designed not only to fulfill their direct functions, but also be an important cultural landmark and an object of Beijing, transforming a rather large-scale area of the surrounding landscape.
Futuristic concept of the building takes its roots in Chinese traditions, which have found expression in the choice of dominant color and subtle borrowing historical architectural features of China.
According to the authors of the project, it is truly Chinese building, combining a ultra-modern trends, building technology, advanced systems and sign for the country elements of traditional aesthetics.
