The unique dynamic and visually fragile architecture of the building The Timmelsjoch Experience Museum Pass, built in the mountains of Austria, – a bright creative work of experts from the Austrian architectural studio Werner Tscholl.
Mountain valley, welcoming the new museum has adopted thousands of years, during which the unique pattern formed by the topography.
The museum building is not only a functional shell for a thematic exhibition, but is also an object of art, sculptures, perfectly integrated in a specified location.
Current large-scale and “minced” aesthetics, as well as possible, enter into a harmonious relationship with color and form of ridges and peaks, in any season and any weather.
The same can be said about the internal situation, the interior is decorated in neutral colors, and the best backdrop for the exhibits are in black and white prints and the surrounding nature building, visible from the spacious glazed entrances, holes located on both sides of the elongated structure.
The museum exposition is devoted to the history of the local culture, travel, landscape formation and socio-economic development. Extreme expression of a building located in the north of the Tyrol, is associated with an unstable boulder, which wistfully looking towards the South Tyrol and about to fall to the bottom of the car passing lane.
