With death it is impossible to joke but if to die, so with music. Or humour. So young Czechoslovak designer Matej Kubik has solved before to create an original urn for ashes which he has presented at competition Czech National Award for Student Design.

The young designer considers that glass – much more flexible, obedient, and the main thing, an easy material, in comparison with metal. And it is much more aesthetic that more corresponds to sacral tradition of a burial place of ashes deceased. Therefore its project of a funeral urn is made of the glass which colour can be any, on a choice of the customer.

The glass urn from Matej Kubik is interesting not only a material and a plan, but also design. However, someone can name its frightening, but souls flying away to the other world is very symbolical design for such objects.
