The Big Sky Lodge – “muscular system” of mountain ski resort
0The Big Sky Lodge - an object designed by Nikita Trufanov from the Illinois Institute of Technology. The innovative structure takes the example of the musculoskeletal system.
Acts committed during skiing creates an intense and coordinated work of the muscles, similar to that formed by the unique structure of an organic architecture that is installed on mountain ski resort.
All elements of the object are in the feedback, develop and achieve coherence and unity. The concrete structure is adapted to the spatial conditions of the site, and functional programs overlap each other, creating tension and visual spatial coherence.
