Tattoo House – an unusual private residence, designed by experts from the architectural studio Andrew Maynard Architects . “Tattoo”-effect facade was created in an attempt to soften the straight minimalist shape of the building.
Thanks to an extraordinary exterior decor, the house became a landmark district, standing out against its more traditional neighbors. Screen technology for glass decor of the main facade was applied in order to ensure confidentiality of private life of the inhabitants.
The figure is associated with vegetation, creates a visual link open a two-level space with a nearby green garden, as well as protection from prying eyes, and very bright sunlight.
