Small Swedish House – budget interpretation of Venetian villas of the Renaissance
0Small Swedish House - a small house with a loft space, built on the picturesque banks of the river in Sweden. The prototype structure are concise Palladios – famous Venetian villas built during the late Renaissance. Unlike a traditional house, this house is designed to take advantage of all resources to achieve the most efficient use of space and the formation of architectural solutions that enhance its level of sensations.
The objective of authors of the project – experts from the Swedish architecture studio Dinell Johansson - was to create the maximum number of spatial units in a building whose size was limited fiscal space. Building area of the house was only 57 square meters.
The principle of construction of the house taken from luxury villas, built on the draft of one of the most influential architects in the history Andrea Palladio, founder of palladism and classicism.
The cross-shaped plan is designed to foster small house living a joyful experience of the open summer life in the country. Each fragment of the internal space is involved in the formation of transparent, but not a ghost of comfort.
Modest laconic exterior becomes clear part of the modern aesthetics of interior, which interacts with the internal environment, not concentrating attention on the boundaries. Contrasting black and white furnishings designed, without attracting attention, bring to the forefront of ergonomics and function of its elements.
