Novice photographers, lost in the mass of the settings of their cameras, are dreaming of, so that the camera has only one button – “Make a masterpiece”. Well, also there it must to be On/Off button. And now their dream has come true! Designer Charlie Nghiem created the concept camera Rotor Digital Camera with only two buttons – on/off and “Snapshot”. Everything else is controlled by rotating element.
Just a month ago we told you about the camera AXIO Blue Eye, which uses instead buttons a touchpad panel right on the screen. Today we tell about the concept of the Rotor Digital Camera to control which that are not used the buttons but wheels. In general, the wheel, at least one is used to control in almost all modern cameras. This comfortable and looks good from a visual standpoint. But designer Nghiem Charlie offers to develop this idea to the max, turning all the camera controls in the wheels.
The reasons for this, several innovations. First of all, it’s just very convenient, in principle. Instead of endlessly jumping on the set of tabs in the menu of a digital camera, getting lost in them and in the principles of management with a heap of buttons, you can simply turn the wheels arranged in a column to the right of the camera screen. Secondly, it is convenient in terms of human anatomy. It turns out that to control all settings of the camera is enough for only one finger of the right hand – the big one. All very easy and organic. Well, “on” and “off” and “descent” can be controlled with your forefinger.
And, thirdly, the vertical position of the wheels just itself looks very attractive.
