Are most important – the weather in the house, and here every forecaster himself. Where are the joy and harmony, there is no place of clouds and storms, and what more positive environment in the home than in it cozier and more comfortable, the less cause for melancholy and whims. With this in mind, the designer Lubo Majer from Slovak DIZAJNO studio developed a series of incredibly positive and good furniture, which is made up of a rainbow of colors, clouds, and zebras, and named accordingly: Cirrus, Flora, Iris & Zebra.
Each element of a series – the independent design project which includes soft sitting, whether it be a sofa, a padded stool or an armchair, and a small coffee table. And this little table can be used as a decorative element, a support for souvenirs, newspapers and magazines, and to serve to tea with sweets. Project Cirrus represents soft and air “cloudy” set: a snow-white armchair and a sofa from fluffy oval pillows, and a coffee table from the hemispheres connected together. Romantically and very lovely, truth, it is too impractical, if it is a question of furniture for the house. But cheerful, solar sofas Flora in the form of yellow colours-sunflowers as if are specially created for a children’s room where there lives the small fairy.
The main idea of this project how its author confirms, – light and colour in each house, and what, except a rainbow, unites in itself these two elements? The bright, remembered furniture from project Iris is modular, and consists of the several multi-coloured pillows-platens which colours correspond to that form a rainbow. Having united among themselves two or three iridescent armchairs, it is possible to make the big sofa for a drawing room. Supplements set a low little table with a glass table-top which is poured on the sun.
“The animal” part of natural furniture is represented by a cheerful striped collection under name Zebra. Armchairs with gracefully bent back-neck and a stylish black-and-white little table will harmoniously add an interior of almost any colour scale, and will add to it not only dynamics, but also exotic.
