Positive interior of new headquarters of MP3 format creators

Associacao Fraunhofer Portugal - a non-profit private association of studies, which is part of the German Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft – the largest organization for applied research in Europe. Despite the fact that association is not known in wider circles, its professionals are the developers of many important innovations, including MP3 and other achievements in scientific research.

As the authors of the interior design of the new company’s headquarters, through open competition, was chosen as the Portuguese architectural studio Pedra Silva Architects.

Dynamic, ergonomic and positive space headquarters, located within the campus of the University of Technology UPTEC Porto (Portugal), is designed to create comfortable conditions for fruitful work of staff and reflect the philosophical concept of the association.

Two floors of the headquarters of the space occupied by about 1660 square meters, located along a long hallway, one side of which is part of the glazed facade of the building on campus.

This central axis provides access to all areas of office space and ease of interaction between its inhabitants.

Creative interior design gushes with fresh ideas and vivid, life-affirming colors fragments. White collective context of the situation connects all elements of office space in a unified conceptual atmosphere, filled with air and light. Numerous inscriptions on the walls and glass surfaces to create a fun and unique spatial dynamics.
