Pixtel Shapes – giant beads as furniture and decorative element

About this interior can only dream of. In particular, children who are known to be converted to use toys and games for all that they see around them. But if the usual furniture that will not work, unusual, in the form of giant beads strung on a thick cord, a designer named Sara Reinholtz invented just for this purpose. Her project is called Pixtel Shapes and was first presented at the exhibition Konstfack degree exhibition in Sweden.

In all places where we live and work, the furniture can also serve as an adornment, to be more comfortable and beautiful, says Sarah Reynholts. Therefore, it is unusual furniture in the form of beads – interactive.

It is as if beckoning, encourages people to play with it, forming a bead-sofas and ottomans modules, partitions and screens. It all depends on what piece of furniture is needed at this time.

 

Thus, Pixtel Shapes beads can be worn on wooden poles, forming a septum, strung on a string, turning round cushions in the couch or sofa. And then play with them, as with balls, or use as a chair-sac. Everything else will tell a fantasy, but details of unusual furniture as usual on website of designer, Sara Reinholtz.
