PINOKY, a magic bracelet for revival of soft toys
0So far as in Japan have thought up how to create the robot, practically not distinguishable from the live person to invent the device recovering soft toys, for local experts it is possible. So, scientists from Japanese scientifically-technological agency at the Tokyo university have designed the surprising device under name PINOKY with which any toy bear, bunny or kitten can move with extremities and a head or to wag a tail.
PINOKY it is the hi-tech bracelet operated the remote panel and stuffed with microcontrollers, photo cells and other electronics. Thanks to this stuffing, the bracelet not only actuates those parts of a body of a toy which it have put on, but also can be programmed so that the toy animal “remembered” movements which to it already should be carried out once.
Among other things, authors of project PINOKY intend to improve soon the device so that it executed vocal commands, and even actuated plush small animals, it is necessary to shake a control panel only. How the surprising bracelet works, it is possible to see on the following video:
