Japanese architectural studio Schemata Architecture Office developed a project of pastry boutique Papabubble at Daimaru Tokyo, recently established a department store in Tokyo (Japan). Visual object becomes dominant stand, located on the perimeter of the kiosk and made of reinforced concrete, fix its shape rather unusual way.
Papabubble at Tokyo Daimaru is the last in the chainlet of pastry shops wares of handwork, the process of creation of that takes place right in front of the customer.
The melting of the sugar made by the selected recipe, cutting, molding, packaging and sale – sweets are right on the surface of the concrete pillar, designed to attract the attention of customers spontaneity, sincerity and charm of spontaneous form.
Created a unique form, pouring the concrete into the dense textile bags. Clear glass panel and separate zoned space without interfering with the possibility of a complete view of the process, and black glazed tiles contrast with the soft concrete forms and emphasizes multicolor products and signage.
