Outside in: wooden lamps, coat racks and shelves, presented by the nature
0Usually nature is called the best designer and artist, and with this we can argue only up to the moment when the eyes don’t see a great rainbow, magical waterfalls, picturesque glade in the forest or artistic bent tree in the park. So it is no wonder that a London designer Nic Parnell draws from nature not only inspiration but also the material for his creative design projects. Thus, a collection of furniture “ Outside in ”, which consists of lamps, shelves and clothes hangers, he literally brought from the street.
As an amateur wander through the picturesque parks and gardens, which abound in London, Nick Parnell noticed how many dead branches and trees is piled in a heap under the fences that are waiting for their turn to go to overtime. So why, instead of throwing dead, don’t try to turn it into something useful, such as a hanger for clothes?
Being obsessed with this idea, the designer engaged in the processing and re-design of old and not suitable for planting trees and branches to change their appearance, making it a bright, stylish and memorable. To do this, Nick Parnell covers the trunks and branches nylon fiber in different colors.
According to the author, a collection of “Outside in” is very creative, and his whole appearance seeks to bridge the gap between the surreal and the ordinary. And besides, it is also quite useful in everyday life, and equally organically such interior will look both at home and office.
