0Unique house Siding House, a project that developed the Canadian architectural studio MacKay Lyons Sweetapple Architects, was built in the picturesque, but very difficult terrain relief of Upper Kingsburg (Canada). Concise and efficient architecture of the house gives way to the primacy of the coastal landscape and the ultra-modern interior creative, different environmental friendliness and natural materials, finishes.
Unusual house offers superb panoramic views of the ocean waves, the distant cliffs and hills dotted with farms and fields. This roomy temporary housing that is leased out, is the ideal place for those who love nature, the close proximity to the sea, appreciate the comfort and stylish and eco-friendly design environment.
The cost of such a set of incontestable advantages relevant – from 1800 $ to 2250 $ per week, depending on the season.
When authors was designing the construction they took into account the most effective form and orientation of windows, and also provides the ability to resist the dominant building in the area a strong west winds. The slope of the house provides a flow of rain water or melting down the slope.
The house includes a living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining room, bedrooms, stairs, bathrooms, technical rooms and dressing rooms. Window belt encircling the building so as to create the most spectacular panoramic views in all of its premises.
Exterior facing at home – is deliberately simple corrugated metal industry, which is opposed to the refined interior panels of hardwood tree, much of which is bleached poplar.
Such a calm and restrained architecture allows to dominate the surrounding landscape. However, the inner “filling” the house is designed to create the greatest possible comfort and convenience of minimalist luxury, assuming the desire for simplicity with great attention to detail and high quality finishing materials.
