Nexus Media Center – the futuristic cultural centre for United Arab Emirates from American architects
0Nexus Media Center – the futuristic project presented by architectural studio Michael Arellanes – the multipurpose city construction developed for building on island Saadijat (United Arab Emirates).
The project main objective consists in creation of the centre for gathering and storage of the information, the saved up knowledge and experience. The fantastic structure aspires to avoid typical displays and distinctive features of modern libraries and to establish the strong connection between various programs of a building.
As a result of the done work, the structure represents itself as multi-functional cultural centre including the media centre, showrooms, offices and ultra-modern habitation. Set of the platforms located round the central part of an architectural composition, are intended for functioning of the state and private institutions, the markets and green terraces.
The bridge of the tectonic form is gradually transformed to vertical structure. Reliability of its “backbone” is combined with an aesthetics of abstract curvilinear architecture of variable intensity which is created on the basis of genomic formations. Difficult spatial decisions are directed on development of intellectual principles in architecture and design.
The hyper-structure body turns to dynamic space using innovative networks and systems. The difficult relief of object offers a wide spectrum of possibilities of functional efficiency, as in premises, and outside. It is possible to get acquainted with creativity of authors of the project, having visited an official site of their architectural studio which office is located in Houston (State Texas, USA): http://www.m-a-2.com/#/home
