Spanish architectural studio + Quespacio completed work on the interior of a small office agency Lexington Avenue. The inspiration for the author’s creative space – designer Ana Hernandez Palacios – has become a dynamic urban atmosphere of New York.
A bright new office of the agency is located in Valencia (Spain). Company Name and Lexington Avenue is the name of one of the routes of the New York subway, taking place in the Bronx and Manhattan.
Minimalist furnishings, rich and bright contrasting color combinations creates a creative environment, encouraging action and innovative solutions.
Allusions to the theme of New York are rather vague and arbitrary. It’s kind of a woman’s vision – imaginative, expressive and emotional. Alternating yellow and black and white stripes pass through the walls and ceiling, causing the association of yellow New York taxis and skyscrapers.
Despite the conventionality of the concept, authors managed to create an interior dynamics peculiar to the famous American cities, bringing it into a small room of the Spanish city that lives life with a mandatory measured daily siesta.
Translucent glass wall separates the reception area from the work area, leaving the possibility of access to natural light.
