Multimedia Library – a multimedia space in the “spare” room. Interior design ideas

This little “spare” room in the house, located in Ribeirao Preto (Brazil) has become a Multimedia Library - multimedia stylish and comfortable space. The innovative interior design, for the issue of which was spent “a penny”, belongs to the specialists from the Brazilian architectural studio YTA.

What was once the emergency room, was the place where the occupants swam the necessary features – comfort and the opportunity to dive into the world of music and movies.

Concrete slab walls are only partially covered with boards of untreated wood. Important role in this simple system is an interior artificial lighting and illumination, as if by magic, transforming the simple and artless surface texture.

The main focus of the project the authors have done in the comfort of upholstered furniture and technical equipment room, staying within which, using tablet, customers will be able to fully control the whole environment around them (audio, video, lighting, temperature and security), as well as connect to the outside world via the Internet.

Charming vintage items that are present in this warm space, side by side with the obligatory collection of books and magazines. The simplicity and truthfulness of decorative techniques seeks to create an atmosphere full of warmth, trust and relaxation.
