Just recently we wrote about how to make life easier for disabled people by using mobile boron car. Still, most disabled people would rejoice to the invention, which would have restored to them freedom of movement. Meanwhile the world is a place where nature gives disabled people the opportunity to move: the underwater kingdom. And to move it, you need a special scuba gear for people with disabilities - and it’s already in the project!

This project is called – “Freedom for people with disabilities”. Its author – Swedish designer Emil Orman. Invented by him scuba gear is aimed at a very broad group of people wich are hampered by the the force of gravity to enjoy walking and running.

And in the water free of their movements should be provided by special arrangements. Diving – interesting, but rather a dangerous thing. Scuba should allow disabled people to actively work with their hands (after all, their feet, many of them can not move) so that sleeve dress fitted sockets with membranes, such as hand-flippers. Specially thought out buoyancy control: if disabled feel bad, the suit will help him emerge properly. In a new thought convenient zipper aqualung, which can be opened and closed with one hand. Skeleton in a suit up for the weakness of the muscles and tendons of divers with disabilities.

In addition to recreational value, the project contributes to the social adaptation of persons with disabilities: it is possible today in wheelchairs sit hundreds of future Cousteau, which will call in oceanography and underwater photography.

The first pilot scuba already been tested. The first presentation of the project were presented. It went with a bang: although the authors still a lot to think about, but the idea to give disabled people the freedom of movement and beauty of the underwater world is very noble.
