Restaurant Tianmen Mountain Restaurant is located in Guilin (China) on the riverbank in the picturesque mountains of pine and peach trees. This unique facility is intended to be temporary shelter for welcoming those who travel the world looking for magnificent views of nature.
The concept of the restaurant, designed by experts from the architectural studio Chongxiao Liu , is an experiment combining the natural environment and segregating the structure, which became the border between the fragment of land and water.
Unusual building elevated above water level, in order to protect themselves from the consequences of its changes. Translucent facade structure, lined with steel beams and iron bars, let in the interior of the required amount of natural daylight and give visitors spectacular views of the surrounding landscape.
627 square meters of internal space divided between a spacious dining hall, kitchen and toilet.
The main decoration material for building was selected spruce, designers left in its natural color and break with clear polish. This eco-decor, combined with the dynamic geometry of the constructs, creates a warm, cozy, but modern and unique environment, blend in a natural context.
