Moscow View – the tallest Ferris wheel

Many large cities can boast of the Ferris wheel with which they are often associated. For example, London has London Eye, Singapore – Singapore Flyer. But in Moscow, may soon appear Moscow View, which is scheduled to become the tallest Ferris wheel in the world.

The height of the wheel in Moscow View will be 220 ??meters, making it the largest such facility in the world (the present record belongs to the Singapore Flyer and is equal to 165 meters). Moreover, this Ferris wheel spokes will not be domestic – its whole body round will move on special rails.

Moreover, the 220 ??meters – the height of the wheel only, and another 100 meters above it rises the spire of Moscow View. So the total height of the building will be 320 meters. Ferris wheel Moscow View will be on the basis of a circular stylobate, which it will be located retail and entertainment complex with a total area of approximately 120 thousand square meters. In it, besides shops and restaurants, will be a concert hall for 4,000 people, ice skating rink, an art gallery, studio live broadcast, gymnastics center, and much more. Around will be created parking on 4300 car places.

Moscow View will have 48 booths, each of which can accommodate from 48 people. One complete revolution of the wheel will perform for 48 minutes. This attraction will work 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

While it is not known exactly where record Ferris wheel Moscow View will be established. Three key areas, one of which could eventually be used, called the Central Park of Culture and Rest named Maxim Gorky, Russian Exhibition Centre, as well as a site on Vernadsky Avenue between circus and theater named Natalia Satz.

As expected, the project will cost 300 millions $.
