MIA: how to manage street lighting with a smartphone
0It is ridiculous to say, but before using the phone could only call. Now they can shoot through them you can surf the web site, you can use them even bought products directly in the subway! And soon phones will operate the system of street lighting - both involve the creators of technology with the naming MIA.
How many times in our situation occurs when the street lights did not meet our expectations! For example, a lamp shone too dimly, and could not be properly read, or just walk along the sidewalk. Or, conversely, the street lights lit up your shop too much at a time when you tried to drink alcoholic beverages on it (police don’t sleep!), Or to discuss some difficult moments in the philosophy of Kant with sexy girlfriend. Given these and many other similar situations designer Daniel Lorincz proposed the concept of street lighting management with smart phones. Moreover, it can make anyone, not just the employees of urban services.
Operate this system, called Lorinchem MIA, is quite simple, but original. In each city the column should hang QR-code (two-dimensional code), which is a reference to a web page of this lamp. So people with a smartphone can point a camera at their phone and get the image on the page they needs (in a special supplement on the phone, of course!), Which can adjust the intensity of light emitted by this particular lamp. It will be possible to increase or decrease it, depending on personal preferences or rights of people. It may be also adjusted lighting with home computers, when you think that a flashlight is shining too brightly for three in the morning! True, it is logical, the brightness of light can not be reduced to a total of zero!
It is not clear just how to do is, if one person trapped under the canopy, wants to increase intensity of glow, and the other – to reduce it!
