New wireless chargers for smartphones #concretecharger and #cherrycharger at first glance resemble futuristic box. However, once you put on them the smartphone as its battery is being charged via magnetic induction.
The idea of wireless charging is not new – there are a huge number of devices of all kinds and colors, but it is still possible to simplify the process. O’Dea Design Company from Pennsylvania has decided to set up two unusual induction wireless chargers. First device – #concretecharger (the name is written as a hashtag) – is a triangular piece of concrete, inside which there is an induction charger and NFC-tag. On top it is covered with a layer of cork and allows you to charge two devices at the same time.
There is a second type – #cherrycharger. It can charge only one smartphone per time. Inside is the same filling, but from the outside it is a box made of cherry wood, covered with felt.
Both use a standard power charger Qi. Enough to put a smartphone on a charger, and a few hours it will be fully charged. Company is already taking pre-orders for both models of chargers. Delivery of products will begin in the fall. Price of concrete charger for two smartphones is $ 550, and the wood will cost $ 450.
