Sufficiently unusual furniture, reminiscent of a tape-carrier for purchases set out in the stores before the cash register, designed by designers from the Paris studio 5.5 designers. The concept is called Karpett and was designed to replace several pieces of furniture and interior design: a bench, a cot and mat.
Authors call their project a combination of creative humor, aesthetics and simplicity – three important components that allow modern furniture to be original, not dull and memorable.
Thus, young people rarely can afford to equip an apartment or room enough necessary furniture, and this means that some subjects will have to be multifunctional. A Karpett thanks to its unique, and at the same time – a very simple design stands out against the background of already existing projects multifunctional furniture.
Thus, at the request of the owner, Karpett can serve rug, bedding for a romantic candlelit dinner by the fireplace, or a chaise longue for relaxing in the park, home “armchair” for those who don’t like to work at a table, or a temporary sleeping place for guests to spend the night.
A rolled up mat with a roller into a fairly comfortable seat.
The idea of ??creating youth furniture Karpett originated with designers from 5.5 designers studio spontaneously, but in a short time has become a fairly functional design, and there is every reason to believe that the same concept will soon turn into a tangible, real piece of furniture.
