Martin Luther Church Hainburg - futuristic church, designed by architects and researchers from the Austrian studio coop himmelb (l) in Hamburg (Austria). Their appearance, it dismisses any doubts about the existence of God.
In this small church at the same time may be about 50 people. Built-up area was 420 square meters. The unique structure is based on four vertical poles, and its frame is made of flat sheets of steel welded 8 mm thick, are mounted on a grid-fitting. Finishing the exterior is a special protective coating, while the interior is “dressed” in a smooth snow-white plaster, against which delicately highlighted elements of the warm light wood.
Beautiful, strong forms of the church form a fascinating architectural composition. On the street welcomes visitors sculptural tower, 20 meters high. This expressive vertical and made of steel and firmly reinforced underground massive concrete foundation.
The bulk of the building roof surreal has three large holes that filtering is passed into the natural daylight color. The presence of three windows correspond to the ecclesiastical architectural canons. The glass facade provides a view on the next street, visually expanding the space of the church.
The premises of the church is divided between the folding doors, which, if necessary, you can create a chamber setting. Almost every architectural and interior of the building element is a piece of modern art.
