Kofunaki house – Life in the forest from Japanese architects
0Kofunaki House - a unique house, designed by specialists from the Japanese architectural studio ALTS design office within the eco-village in Shiga (Japan). The forest in the center of the living space is designed to return the inhabitants of the house to its roots.
The abundance of wood against a background of white walls and ceilings, transforming the boundaries of dwelling in the air, as well as gravel, concrete, and live plants create a natural eco-environment.
Live trees and bushes are located at different heights, and surrounded by residents of the house on all sides, creating an eco-aesthetics and a favorable microclimate in the premises.
The total area of two-storey house is 132.31 m2. The first level includes parking, entrance, bathroom, bedroom, living room, dining room and kitchen. On the second floor office fit, kids room, balcony and attic.
