Hong Kong University’s Innovation Tower – an innovative building design of Polytechnic University in Hong Kong (China) from Zaha Hadid Architects. The object is to become an architectural landmark that symbolizes the dynamic development of Chinese metropolis and demonstrate a high level of educational institutions of the new generation.
University will provide a set of training and research programs. Fluid seamless architecture of the building symbolizes the dynamics of present and future achievements, and produces an impressive visual effect.
The project covers a part of the landscape, on a raised podium and serving as a prelude to the main entrance. The empty space below is used as a route to campus.
Open public lobby, located on the podium level extends deep into the building, attracting visitors on a fascinating area of shops, cafes, museums and exhibition space.
