Interior design inspired by cats. Residential building House Cat by Japanese architects
0Any interior begins with conception. In forming the environment of the future homes, builders and residents a unique home House Cat decided to focus not only on their own preferences, but also for the comfort and needs of cats – pet friendly and fun family.
Founders of the project – a Japanese architectural studio Key Operation - so enthusiastic about the unusual idea that caring for pets in the concept was not a minor, and a priority! Despite the fact that the rooms, as well as in a traditional layout, separated by walls, their visual and spatial relationships are supported by doorways, windows and numerous mini-portals for cats.
These little square holes done in some places of fastening shelves fastened to the blank walls and a smooth space in a chaotic manner. Shelves, of course, are designed for jumping and games pets. Wooden racks placed along the perimeter of rooms as well as other pieces of furniture, also focused on the fact that is of interest not only for humans but for cats.
Simple and unsophisticated interior is light, neutral colors, with the inclusion of bright life-affirming and fragment based standards of environmental sustainability of housing.
According to local building codes, building exterior should not be allocated from the general context of the adjacent line of buildings, decoration of which is, at best, dull gray plaster.
