“I like it. What is it?” Strange lamp design from Annebet Philips
0Looking at the strange “gizmos”, created by Dutch designer Annebet Philips, every second person will say for sure: I like it! What is it? Apparently, the author often had to deal with this reaction, since “it” – a series of unusual plush fixtures – officially called the “I like IT. What is IT? ”
Plush fixtures with a strange name reminiscent of the long-colored boas. Safe and even useful in daily life. So, hiding inside the lamp cord and LED lights manually wrap a cloth as monochromatic as well as with various designs, or simply striped like a zebra. Soft and pleasant to the touch, this fabric protects “stuffing” lamps from external damage, and also makes every element of the series “I like it. What is it?” the original interior decoration.
Due to the length and flexibility, light fixtures-”boas” you can twist and tie as you want. This construction can be hung from the ceiling, arrange on a desk, roll into a ball and determine the angle in the living room, and then stretch the entire length to lay on the couch instead of cushions. As they say, there is a will, and the ideas and possibilities are always there.
Because the light sources in such a lamp is LED, it doesn’t heat up, which means that there is no reason to worry about the possible ignition of the lamp teddy cover. Amazing Light “I like it. What is it?” were presented at Dutch design week, which was held in the autumn, and was praised by the jury and the audience.
