House-”tent” from Suppose Design Office
0Simple and unique design house Kodaira-shi Residence, recently appeared in the Kodaira-shi (Tokyo, Japan), reminiscent of a tent or a structure mounted on the construction of primary residence. It should be surprised by the aphids, because the authors of the family house – experts from the architectural studio Suppose Design Office.
The architectural concept of home is that the main residential structure is covered with a canvas awning half hexagonal shape. This solution is designed to “blur” the boundary between inside and outside, maintaining the confidentiality of the lives of slum houses that want to enjoy my garden, located at a nearby roadway.
The house will live on a family consisting of four people. The owners of an unusual home architects were asked to create the best possible conditions for the green area and children’s play space in the open air, in closeness to the road.
Total land area is 117.29 meters, while a built-up area – 50.8 square meters only. The rest of the space given over to a garden, which will become an integral part of the program and architectural design. The green zone will be organically connected to the interior and at the same time, act as a buffer between the housing and the outside world.
According to the architects, the “house” as if hovering over the garden, speaking at the same time as the roof, wall and fence. In addition, the sliding glass doors can be fully opened, bringing the dwelling with an area of ??the garden.
The house includes two levels. On the ground floor communal space fit with an open plan, which consists of a kitchen, dining room, bathroom and living room.
On the second floor is a minimalist staircase. There are private rooms – a bedroom of adults and children. The second level continues the philosophy of open space, acting in opposition to the Western way of life, according to which the bedrooms are separate rooms. Two children among themselves shared staircase and bedroom is roomy for a wardrobe.
