Honda introduced a new hybrid scooter

Honda company announced two new models of hybrid scooters, they have indexes SH125i and SH150i. The machines will be produced in Italy, and their main advantage is the new internal combustion engines eSP with microhybrid system and a number of other innovative solutions that significantly reduce fuel consumption.

The numbers in the index of the new models of scooters Honda SH125i and SH150i indicate the volume of their engines. Thus, the model with 0,125 l engine consumes just 2.11 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, and the version with the engine at 0.150 liters consumes 2.28 liters per 100 km. This has been possible thanks to the system used here, “start-stop” and a number of other engineering solutions that reduce resistance to engine parts and other items.

Fuel consumption compared to previous models reduced also by reducing the weight of the scooter models boast 16-inch wheels, ABS and increased storage space under the seat, which now contains a full-size motorcycle helmet.

The cost of a new model of corporate scooter Honda SH125i in versions and SH150i is not specified, but the European release is slated for this year.
