The forces of nature have formed the basis of the unique homes called Hobbit-Hole Dug Out ??Duplex , created by renowned American architect William Morgan. This property is leased and formed within natural dunes that were formed as a result of the hurricane that struck in 60′s of last century.
Instead of building new additional structures on the ground level, the architect decided to infiltrate the body spontaneously formed on the waterfront strip of dunes adjacent to the traditional coastal structures. Eclectic“home Hobbit”combines organic and retro-futuristic design. This is fantastic in the literal and figurative senses structure became an example of effective use of the area and symbolic landmarks of the coastal areas.
Round window-eyes viewing room on the sea horizon, while, as a bedroom and bathroom are located on the back of the dunes, in order to comply with privacy privacy inhabitants. The view from the windows of surrounding dune structures had not changed. Bold and functional design of the internal space is a delicate continuation of the outside, gently flowing into a pleasant view of the landscape area near the house, which, in turn, merges seamlessly with the line of the beach on one side and a green lawn on the other.
The green roof and walls provide a balanced housing and efficient heat transfer of internal space “holes” with the environment, as well as preserve the natural state of the natural landscape.
