Heat-sensitive furniture Linger A Little Longer by Jay Watson
0With good people there is no wish to part under any circumstances. And when they leave, so want to ask them to stay a short while… Thus, creative furniture under the name “Linger A Little Longer” from designer Jay Watson with all its nature shows, how it needs a human warmth.
The project Linger A Little Longer consists of a strict stylish table and the same bench of the noble black. And it remains impenetrably black from time to time. Until guests with owners will sit down and start drinking tea. Then the heat-sensitive paint, which covered the surface of furniture will brighten where it related to warm hands, feet, or utensils with hot food.
The longer a person sits up at the table, the more heated the furniture, the more transparent it becomes. So “heartless” table and a bench meet at the touch of warm bodies – originally communicate with those who are close by. But the traces which remain on the black surface, reminiscent of watercolor paintings, or X-rays. But when furniture begin to cool, fingerprints will fade, and eventually Linger A Little Longer will be flat black again.
It is known that the temperature-sensitive set of creative furniture, was released in September 2011, and is available for pre-order on the author’s website, Jay Watson.
