A Draft Cultural Center, the Performance Center Alexanderhoehe was developed by experts from the American Architectural Studio B + U Architecture in Iserlohn, Germany. The new structure is to be the futuristic ultra-modern extension of the existing theater building, Parktheater.
The construction of the organic architecture was built on the north side of the Park Theater building, straight and concise, so as to create a new visual landmark, with the view opening towards the center of the largest cities in the region.
The orientation of the new building is designed to facilitate the creation of a single point of access for visitors and the new Parktheater cultural center. In order to avoid blocking the existing building walls and the new construction, an extremely effective visual-spatial relation has been established with generous multi-level lobby with glass fronts that overlook the ParkTheater and the surrounding urban landscape.
This connection of the old and new extension at ground level has a lobby that connects the two entrances to the building. This translucent building offers visitors a panoramic view, and with the onset of darkness creatively illuminates the space around them.
The scene inside the new futuristic structure creates a floating in space effect that surrounds the vestibule.
