Decameron – best shop in the world from Brazilian architects
0Famous Brazilian architect Marcio Kogan and Mariana Simas from the studio Studio Mk27 built a unique shop located in Sao Paulo (Brazil). The basis for a creative boutique, received top honors as the best commercial building in the world at World Architecture Festival, became marine cargo containers.
Bright building called the Decameron fit on the 250 square meters rented. It is a temporary lease conditions have dictated the expediency of a small budget spent on the creation of the shop and as a consequence, the selection of materials of construction.
Two-level hangar, consisting of two shipping containers, was surrounded by picturesque landscape design, created by designers and nature with pebbles and palms.
The shell shop, located perpendicular to the main street, were painted with bright contrasting colors. This orientation was chosen in order to not disturb the natural arrangement of trees.
Translucent polycarbonate sliding door to the shop opening hours are in the open position, partly by providing sight of passers-by its contents – a large exhibit hall with products and office space.
A unique, creative and bold – this practical project, designed to draw the attention of buyers furniture and decor, will undoubtedly attract many visitors.
