Creative renovated apartment for young family by Korean Architects
0Updated apartment Jung-hyun’s apartment, located in Seoul (Korea), is a unique interior solution by experts from the Korean architectural studio Moohoi Architect. The new spacious residence, according to the authors of interior and its inhabitants, is ideally suited to the life of a young couple with two children.
Large family-oriented open space area of ??152 square meters consists of several functional areas. The center of life here is a spacious living room.
The starting point for developing the concept of children’s bedroom was a study of everyday life of young families. Having carefully considered how children play, learn, sleep and entertain, authors have tried to consider all interior features of their behavior and create a very ergonomic and living environment in rooms where the ceiling height is only 2.7 meters.
In order to “confuse” the visual perception of space, architects have done a little remodeling in the past, standard apartment and introduced a number of interesting decorative solutions – the “warm” pine boards on the ceiling, the same wooden platform elevated above the ground-floor space and furniture in the children’s bunk bedroom.
Thanks to these innovations, according to the authors of the project, offset by a small ceiling height, which is at the level of sensation is no longer a priority. In addition, thus forming a non-trivial living space with often imperceptible glance, but huge on-board storage systems.
Dark tile on the floor in most of the apartments and the dark contrast in the form of fragments of furniture in general, against a light background perform the same function – look expressive accent on attention and visually increase the height of the ceilings.
And this is how this modern apartment looked up to repairs. The work of the authors of the project can be found on the official website of the architectural studio based in Seoul: http://moohoi.com/
