Creative modern villa in the ancient ruins of Italian province
1Few modern decor can transform a part of the restored ruins of the eighteenth century in a modern comfortable country villa with an intriguing romantic setting, ideal for weekends.
Unique house is located in the Salento (Italy). When owner found it a fantastic place, he just fell in love with it at first sight. The impressive effect produced is not so much architectural value of the object (in fact, very poorly constructed), and his artistic identity, showing the character of this region.
The aim of the author’s update – Italian architect Luca Zanaroli – was the preservation of the original, historically significant appearance of the building. The ruins have been restored, strengthened, rebuilt and connected to a few passages.
Simple architectural forms, a monochrome color palette, the gentle curves and ramps emphasize the idea of ??spatial continuity. Contrast of decor and furnishings enhance the uniqueness of the mysterious dwelling typology and conceptual atmosphere.
Meeting and union eras, their honest and passionate dialogue interaction create a stylish and romantic atmosphere, ideal for retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday routine. No less magnetism and the area has around the house, well equipped for a comfortable and relaxing pastime.
