Candle in the ice. Unusual lamp Thaw Ice Candle by Matthew Jackson
0Probably, there is no more gentle and romantic illumination, than what to us give fire, the moon and stars. Therefore by moonlight pass romantic walks, and at candles – romantic suppers for enamoured hearts. The unusual desktop fixture with the same romantic implied sense was thought up by designer Matthew Jackson from Great Britain. It is called Thaw Ice Candle and looks rather picturesquely: a candle chained in an ice armour.
If the candle in itself adjusts the person on a romantic harmony the image of ice and a flame and will promote for a long time to formation of such mood. Therefore Matthew Jackson has developed an especial candlestick for Thaw Ice Candle: the chromeplated brilliant support and the special form for modelling of ice “lamp shade”. A gulf in it usual water, we will receive the cylinder from ice which will be that “armour” which has held down a flame of a candle, and also original protection for open fire.
Water sharpens a stone, and ice of which the covering of the unusual fixture is made, will thaw approximately for 3 hours. Thawed snow does not deliver inconveniences as will flow down in the capacity providently developed by the designer hidden in the chromeplated support. Subsequently it can be poured out, or again to freeze, to make for a flame a new ice floe. Cost of such fixture makes 55 dollars.
