Bridge House – timber house-bridge from Australian architects
0Australian architect Max Pritchard has built a unique Bridge House, situated in the wooded area not far from Adelaide (Australia). A simple geometric construction is lightweight visual, ecological and harmonious integration into the natural landscape.
The object shows the optimal combination of organically adapted to the local nature of concrete, steel and wood. Moreover, simple at first glance, design makes a fabulous piece of wood in a corner – a warm and welcoming.
The system of artificial illumination gives the house a certain mystique. To complete the idyllic picture of terrain topology has been slightly modified - some objects are removed from the site selected for construction of an unusual home, while others, conversely, been introduced.
Under the house there are steep banks, closing between a water rippling forest stream. The rigid form of a narrow house is only 110 square meters, but the spatial minimalism is quite able to compensate for the beautiful views from the windows of each room.
