Typotecture – the use of printing on a large scale on the facades of buildings. This simple but effective method is often used young Croatian architects in an attempt to give a second life unimpressive exterior operating a business center.
The former factory buildings with very different facades have been combined into an integrated “panel”, made a spectacular black-and-white palette. Of the total two-tone concept is allocated only bright yellow fragments of facades, which in this context looks very eloquently and effectively performing their advertising function.
Abstract and chaotic, this artistic composition is only at first glance. Each digit represents a particular sector here. For example number 10 is hidden administration business center.
The converted building became the dominant visual, not only among his entourage. Unique facades can see travelers passing through Zagreb by train and flying over the ancient Croatian city on the plane.
The project, authors believe that, given the simple rectangular shape source “web”, using a large-scale drawing in the same geometric style was most appropriate solution in terms of visual compatibility and economic benefits.
