It has long been decommissioned coal power station Battersea decades stands empty in the center of London. But perhaps in the near future it will become a park with some of the most impressive in the world of roller coasters.
Unfortunately, not all industries can be adapted to modern conditions of production and business. And because some of them have shut down, as happened with the coal power plant Battersea, located within the boundaries of London. It ceased operation as directed in 1983, and since then stands empty.
Since then, a number of projects aimed at the reconstruction of the former power station and convert it into complexes of different purposes, for example, a new stadium for the football club “Chelsea” . At the last a recent contest devoted conversion Battersea, the first place was the project architectural firm Atelier Z?ndel Cristea, involving the transformation of the station into an amusement park with a museum of industry and huge roller coaster, encircling the object.
Principal amount of the former power take indoor theme park dedicated to the history of British industry from the Industrial Revolution to the present. It will be not only entertaining but also educational complex, real scientific center dedicated to the glorious economic past, present, and future of the UK.
But the chief object of the future park will be a huge roller coaster, going around the whole of the former station, through its different levels and even indoors. This will be one of the most impressive facilities of its kind in the world – the same sign as the London Eye Ferris wheel and cable car across the Thames.
