Corporation Google finally decided for that, already made ??Apple and Microsoft – has opened their own shop. It appeared in Melbourne and called Androidland. Moreover, there will be sold not Google products, but their affiliates.

When Apple decided to open their own mono-brand stores AppleStore, many took up this idea with skepticism. But experience has shown that CEO Steve Jobs has calculated all true – every year these shops bring “apple” for about 10 billion $. In the end, followed the example of Apple and Microsoft. And now, Google pulled – the first store called Androidland opened recently in Australian city of Melbourne.

Of course, Google, unlike Apple and Microsoft, hardly produces its own tangible products. And the Android operating system is open source and available to anyone. So that under the roof of Androidland it will be collected  production of the largest companies-partners of Google – Samsung, LG, Motorola and HTC.

After all, these companies produce hundreds or even thousands of digital devices running Android. And now, Google has decided to collect many of them in one shop, so tits visitors could navigate around this diversity, see the proposals from different vendors, twist them in their hands, and then to make a reasoned choice.

In addition, Androidland created to promote the operating system Android. In the shop is set displays (traditional and interactive), which show features of the OS. This, in addition to retail, and is the benefit to the creation of such stores.

Shop Androidland in Melbourne created as an experiment. If it proves successful, similar outlets will be built around the world. However, on the assertions of guidelines Google, the corporation doesn’t consider Androidland stores as a major source of income – it is rather media, than business project. However, time will show!
