Alternative architecture of car park in Hong Kong. Project-winner of Alternative Car Park Tower

Alternative Car Park Tower - futuristic car park project by experts from the architectural studio Mozhao Studio, who won for the best offer in the competition, recently held in Hong Kong.

Victory in an international competition sponsors brought a successful attempt to unite parts of the metropolis infrastructure.

The architecture provides a unique spiral tower network of public spaces, atriums and multipurpose rooms. In addition, the building provides a beautiful view of Victoria Harbour and Kowloon.

Creativity of professionals from Mozhao Studio transforms a typical parking lot into a new local landmark attraction. 

Fully automated parking is placed on multi-functional area, forming an eighty meters open atrium. On parking cars arrive at the upper levels of the spiral ramp, which supposes lifts and even a special track.

These ramps are not only functional elements of the structure, but also become its dominant visual, effectively distinguishes the new building in the background of their neighbors.

The advantage of this project is also a shortage of parking space in densely built-up area and populated Hong Kong, center of which is literally invaded by commercial and recreational areas and spatial institutions.

 

On weekends, the area of ??the first level of the building will function as a temporary market. This transformation is possible, as a consequence of appreciable changes in driving route. This certainly sets a sensible course of the new building the importance of urban values, connecting to the adjacent public places and participating in the rapid dynamics of the infrastructure of Hong Kong.
