Adobe Buble Hutta – African house in the form of drops from Yuri Tsegla
0Somehow I stumbled in the Internet on site of the architectural international competition “Home for middle-class families in Ghana” (www.os-house.org). And I was interested in participating in this contest, as the idea of ??building homes with the help of a flexible casing, I have long been spinning in my head. And the climate of the region off the African coast, the best way to contribute to this project.
Construction Technology:
To implement the project, we need flexible (rubber) ball size of 12 m in diameter. It is filled with water, forming a kind of drop-like shape. Fix the height of the arched board, the ends of the tracks. This board is the main buttress element. Then, on this form is applied to a thin (10-15cm) layer of a mixture of clay and straw (adobe) with polypropylene mesh reinforcement. It is possible to add more liquid glass, I’m not sure yet, but you need to experiment. Give the first coat to dry. Then we plot a rough reinforcement branch or something like that and fill it with a thick layer of adobe. When this design is dry, water is drained from the ball, the ball straighter and construction dries up. The top layer, again, pour a layer of clay with liquid glass and armiruem polypropylene mesh.
Drop-shaped, dome-shaped molded form itself is very solid, but the dome for added strength reinforced buttress wall consisting of planks and sticks – wedges. Through its “blind shaped” form – it will pass into the interior light of day. On the inside, the wall will be mounted glass or polypropylene film. At the top of the house set, designed by me, a solar collector, which rotates in a circle. One turn is 24 hours, thus easier to manage the reflector, and it always focused bude to the sun, and provides the maximum collection of solar energy. The solar collector will heat the coolant to 300 degrees Celsius. The microcontroller will control the movement and distribution of fluid between the cooking stove, water heater and a solar concentrator. A coolant pipes themselves will heat the air that will pull the air flow and thus the circulation of air in the room. The interior space is organized so as to minimize the use of sewer, water pipes.
